Joan Lou Williamson

Dearly missed

Joan Lou Williamson, 80, passed away September 23, 2010, at Bethany at Silver Lake. She was born in Jackson, Minnesota, on August 14, 1930, to Leonard and Dorothea Severson. She moved to Missoula, Montana, as a youth and graduated from high school there. Joan was married to O'Dean Williamson from 1951 to 1978. His work in the Bureau of Indian Affiairs brought them to Everett in 1968. In 1992 she moved to Montana to help care for her mother and returned to Everett in 1998 and has lived here since then.

She is survived by a daughter, Dawn Nielsen and grandchildren Whitney, Niklas, and Katrine of Denmark, and a son, Ross Williamson of Seattle. She is also survived by a brother, Jon Severson (Betty) of Billings, Montana, and cousin Rosanna Miller of Bonney Lake, Washington. Her ashes will be interred in Montana.
