Getting Tired

God saw that you were getting tired and a cure was not to be so He put his arm around you and whispered, "Come to Me" With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay A golden heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to usthat He only takes the best

Mother

She left her children on earth
For well her work was done
And by the great divine command
Her own reward is won.

She knows the joy of perfect rest
Near Heaven's throne above,
And there in quiet peace she'll sleep
Surrounded by God's love;
And we who mourn need never weep.

We need not shed a tear,
For mothers only rest in Christ
Will neither pain nor fear.
