Kathryn Ann Kyle

April 01, 1947 - March 10, 2010

Kathryn inspired all with her optimistic outlook

Kathy Kyle (62) of Snohomish, Washington passed away on March 10, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kathy was born in Greenville, South Carolina on April 1, 1947 to Robert and Frances Kyle who both preceded her in death. Kathy is survived by her partner of 24 years Doug Thorne. She is also survived by her son Rob Kyle and family, including two grandchildren of Las Cruces, New Mexico, her brother Robert C. Kyle and family of Winnetka, Illinois and sister Lee Kyle of Phoenix, Arizona.

Her optimistic outlook on everything, including her own struggle with bone marrow cancer, was an inspiration to many and an example of how a smile and cheerful attitude can be an amazing approach to life. Kathy loved her family and friends dearly and was a kind and generous human being.

Kathy will be cremated and in accordance with her wishes a family celebration of her life will take place later this summer in Montana, at a location near to her heart.

A Good Life

When we are gone, and people weep
for us and grieve, let it be because we
touched their lives with beauty and simplicity.
Let it not be said that life was good to us,
but, rather, we were good to life

Jacob P. Rudin

Love Lives On

Those we love remain with us,

for Love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade;
because one loved is gone.

Those we love can never be
more than a thought apart,
for as long as there's a memory
they live on in our heart.
Think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost,
and she was loved so much.
