We Will Never Forget
Chris always thought about everyone else before he thought about his own self. Chris Ray James was a very young kind soul who left our family way too soon. Our entire family (Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts and Uncles) cared for Chris from the day he came into this world on October 17, 1986. He bounced endlessly on our laps as soon as he could lift himself up. We spent endless days and nights helping him search for that last Lego piece! We helped him with his homework (usually because of so many of his all-nighters playing video games!) We were always very grateful that he kept an eye on his younger brother Ryan and we were honored when he graduated from high school. Within a couple of months of his graduation he obtained his driver’s license and bought an old truck (with the help of his Grandma) and we set off on a road trip to the automotive school that he enrolled in near Arizona. Unbeknownst to us a truck without air conditioning is not an ideal situation for Arizona! Our next adventure came only 2 weeks later when we stayed up all night trying to direct Chris back to Washington because he was so home sick! We all shared in his very proud accomplishments when he received his 5 year anniversary at Boise Cascade and again when he bought his beautiful jeep that he loved driving around with the top off. He was extremely close to his cousins Wynnette, Joel and Teresa who shared dreams and aspirations with
Thank you Chris for giving our family 26 years worth of wonderful memories that we will never forget. We love you so much and will forever cherish every moment you gave us. We’ll see you Chris when this life we part. Save us a place where we’ll be close to you and in joy we’ll embrace, as our love we renew.
Chris passed away on June 5th, 2013 in Bothell, WA. He is survived by his mother and step father Collette and Jeff James, his father Hans Eilertsen, brother Ryan Eilertsen, Grandma Carolyn Woods, step Grandpa John Burkett, Grandma Astri Eilertsen, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

proverbs 10:7
The memory of a good person is a blessing.
A Good Life
When we are gone, and people weep
for us and grieve, let it be because we
touched their lives with beauty and simplicity.
Let it not be said that life was good to us,
but, rather, we were good to life
