December 12, 1963 - July 02, 2016

Teresa "Terri" Yvonne Curtiss, 52, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2016. She was born on December 12, 1963 in Seattle to Gregory Glass and Deanne Lund.

Teresa was a devoted friend of many and mother of two. She ran a personal in-home daycare business for over 20 years where she loved caring for children and watching them grow. She enjoyed cooking meals in large quantities, gardening in the back yard, mastering solitaire, watching movies on repeat (her daycare may remember "Hocus Pocus" well), volunteering at Holy Family School, eating seafood cannelloni, making smores over a bonfire and spending as much time as she could with her daughters. Teresa loved everyone she met unconditionally. She was patient, compassionate and always willing to help others.

Teresa is survived by her daughters, Kelleen Irwin and Amanda Barron, her son-in-law David Irwin, her sisters Kelleen Storino, Tiffani Hockett, Michelle Thomas and Nicole Kilstrom, and her companion pup, Charlie.

A memorial for Teresa will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10:00 am at John Knox Presbyterian Church 109 SW Normandy Rd Seattle, WA 98166 Reception meal to follow.
