October 18, 1934 - August 29, 2016

Janet Farugie (known to all of us as Tanya) was 81 years and passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2016 in her home. She was born October 18th, 1934 in Bakersfield, CA.

Daughter of Mike and Faye, she is survived by her Sons Dan Valoff, Mike Farugie and Steven Farugie, and her Daughter Susan Boone. Her Daughter-in-law’s Tammi and Kristen Farugie. Her Grandchildren AJ Valoff, Trinity Farugie, Christiana Farugie, David Farugie, Samantha Torre and Joseph Torre. Great-granddaughter Makenzie Torre. Stepdaughter Judy Farugie-Myers, Son-in-law Gary Myers and their children Jennifer Myers-Smith and Mandye Myers-Cortopassi.

Her love was unmeasurable and when she smiled at you, you couldn’t help but smile back!  When she walked into a room she would light it up!  If it sparkled she loved it, a girl cannot have enough sparkle in her life she would say. She loved her children and grandchildren very much and though miles kept them apart at times she just lite up when she talked about each of them!

She loved animals and always had a pet that she adored.  She is survived by her kitty Oreo who is now living with her sister Susan! Oreo will miss her too!

We love you Mom, Nonnie and Grandma and you will be missed.  But we all know you’re in heaven with our Lord and rejoicing in song and love!  We will see you again soon!
