David Gene Seeley
August 05, 1957 - July 09, 2015
He Loved to Share His Talents with Everyone
Dave passed peacefully away at home with family and his dog at his side.
He was born in Great Falls Montana August 5, 1957, but grew up in eastern Washington. Dave joined the Army in 1975 and served until 1978. He took some college courses at Spokane Community College but then moved to Everett in the early '80's where he went to work at Fluke Electronics where he worked for more than 20 years. There he met and married Becki Seebeck and they moved to south Whidbey.
After leaving Fluke Dave went on to work at several other jobs but nothing stuck until he was hired on at Boeing where he spent the last four years. There he met and made many new friends, many of whom Dave looked on as extended family. It was many of these coworkers who saw Dave through the last few months of his illness and really added to the last happy times he had.
Dave was an avid fisherman and spent many hours with friends and family in his favorite pastime. Besides fishing, Dave loved to cook (and eat). And he loved to share his talents with everyone. Any excuse to get family and friends together turned into a special occasion where Dave could practice his culinary skills.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, John.
He is survived by his wife, Becki; his mother, Delores of Everett; sisters Pam and her husband Tom Deschler of Florence Oregon; Tammy and her husband Rod Main of Palouse Washinton; and brothers John and his partner Melissa from Monmouth Oregon; and Dale from the Tri-Cities.
