Much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend

Jessie passed away January 2, 2017, in Edmonds.  She was born August 29, 1916 to Jesse Gooding & Louise Bovee in Goshen, Washington (now a ghost town near Bellingham).  She grew up in Helena, Montana, with some time also spent in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She was a resident of Seattle most of her adult life.  She is survived by her husband of 19 years, John “Jigs” O’Mara of Lake Forest Park, her daughter, Laurel (Nicholas) Johnson of Shoreline, brother, Don Starring of Lynnwood, and best friends, Kathleen Dyer and Larry Scott of Seattle.  Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.  She is pre-deceased by her daughter, Sharon Milne.
