Gerald “Jerry” M. Miller

October 2, 1930 - December 24, 2017

Jerry Miller was born on October 2, 1930 in Rockwell, Iowa to Gerald and Eugenia Miller and passed away surrounded by his loving family at the age of 87 on December 24, 2017. He graduated from Vancouver High School in 1949,  he was a military veteran of the Korean War and a Purple Heart recipient, and a long-time Boeing employee. He married the love of his life, Carol, on June 14, 1986. He enjoyed camping, work working, gardening and the Seattle Seahawks.

Jerry worked for the Boeing Company in Everett for nearly 30 years. He was a member of the Alderwood Community Church and volunteered with the City of Lynwood’s Volunteers in Public Service (VIPS) program.

Jerry is survived by Carol Miller; Nola “Nikki” Miller; Jerry L. Miller (Doris); Rodney Miller (Lisa) of Vacaville, CA; Jeff Gillespie (Deneane); and Julie Billett (Rob Gilchrist); and grandchildren, Randy and Brian Miller; Blake Gillespie; Tiffany Guarino; Laura Sawicki; Taylor and Aaron Billett and Cameron Gilchrist; and many great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL INFORMATION

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Alderwood Community Church, 3403 Alderwood Mall Blvd., Lynnwood. A gathering will follow at the Miller residence.
