November 27, 1959 - August 26, 2018

Marty was the son of Pat and Bonny Hentschell. He grew up in the Wedgwood area of Seattle and attended Our Lake Of The Lake and St. Matthew grade schools; and Bishop Blanchet and Nathan Hale High Schools. He participated in lots of sports and other activities growing up, but his favorite times were spent at the family cabin on the water at Tulalip. He loved the area so much that he returned to make his home there as an adult, at Port Susan.

Marty married Nikki Hall in 2002, and they welcomed their beloved son Kamren in 2008. For many years Marty worked for Washington Energy Services where he was a valued employee. He retired due to health problems and enjoyed his life at Port Susan.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Nikki Hall Hentschell, son Kamren Wales Hentschell, daughter Robyn, and four grandsons. He is also survived by his brother Nace (Kris); sisters Lisa and Molly (Guy); five nieces and a nephew; and many friends. He will be missed.
