December 6, 1943 - July 8, 2018

Judy was born December 6, 1943 at Mills Memorial Hospital in San Mateo, California.  Her parents were Jack and Gertrude Lipson. She welcomed her brother Jay in 1946.

She attended schools in San Carlos, California, graduating from San Carlos High School in 1962.  She attended San Mateo Community College.  She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Phelps Dodge Copper Company and later became a housewife.

She married Archie Curtis in February 1967.  They had two children.  Anne Marie in 1968, and a son Sean in 1972.  They later divorced and she returned to California following the divorce.  She worked in the electronics industry while living in San Jose and Milpitas.

She returned to Washington in 1999 to be near her daughter and grand daughters along with her widowed mother.  Since 1999 she was a resident of Mill Creek.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.

She is survived by her son Sean and daughter Anne Marie.

Her son Sean would like to thank the caregivers she had over the past 2 years and the wonderful compassionate care she received at Providence Hospice.

An open house was held in her honor July 27, 2018.  No other funeral services will be held at her request.  Her final arrangements were made through A Sacred Moment Funeral Service.
