Julieann Miller

March 21, 1937 - May 9, 2018

Julieann Miller, loving wife, mother and Grammy, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2018 in Lynnwood, Washington.  Julieann was born March 21, 1937 in Harrison, Nebraska and married Thomas Miller in 1959.  Julieann is survived by son Doug and wife Kathy Miller of Snohomish, Washington, her grandchildren Jackson, Shane and Wyatt, and son Jeff Miller of Fort Collins, Colorado.  

Julieann attended the University of Wyoming and worked in Fort Collins, Colorado for most of her career as a third-grade teacher after also teaching Head Start and students with learning disabilities.  Julieann and Tom built a house in Moran, Wyoming and enjoyed many outdoor activities with friends and family, especially skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, fishing, and canoeing.  She also loved music and dancing and was an amazing cook. 

Julieann was very active in her church in Jackson, Wyoming and made many close friends during her years living there.  After Tom passed away in 2009, Julieann moved to the Seattle area to be close to Doug and Kathy and grandkids, and her brother Chester (Kenny) Lacy and family. 

A memorial service with family was held on May 19 where Julieann lived in Lynnwood.
