Lewis Emmons

May 9, 1936 - January 10, 2019

Lewis (Lew, Papa) Emmons died January 10th, 2019 at the age of 82. He was born in Story City, Iowa and lived in Minneapolis, St. Paul, MN, Bellevue, Mercer Island and Mukilteo WA. He married Charlene Glass and had son Mark and Lynda Sydow and had son Eric. He was an awesome family man and great provider.

After graduation from St. Olaf College, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy and served for three years. He then became a Certified Public Accountant and became an auditor for the Defense Contract Audit Agency.

He loved his fishing in his Boston Whaler and especially catching the “big one”, a 72 lb. King Salmon in Alaska. An avid card player, Lew was a master Bridge player.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynda and sons Mark (Connie), Eric (Noele), granddaughters Carissa and Kelsey, grandsons Anders, Bishop and Carter, brother David, and sister Nadine (Alan).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Eric and Noele’s house in Shoreline, WA April 27th, 2019.
