Harry King Griffin

May 19th, 1942 - October 27, 2018

Harry King Griffin, age 76 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family October 27, 2018, 10pm at Providence hospital in Everett. He was born May 19th, 1942, in Milford Connecticut to Harry and Irene Griffin and he was the youngest of 4 children. The family eventually moved to California where he met the love of his life Michaelin (Mickey) Griffin. They were married July 14th, 1962.     

In 1965 Harry was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed giving regular talks at the Kingdom Hall as well as participating in the theocratic Bible dramas at the yearly Convention. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for over 55 years and retired as a commercial estimator in 2017.  He enjoyed his long career and was proud that his IBEW legacy was being carried on by his son and grandson.

Harry loved traveling to Hawaii, camping, boating, along with water & snow skiing. He enjoyed listening to 80’s music and spending time with his friends and family.  He was very loving, hardworking, always willing to help others, good at listening, loyal, trustworthy, and remained firm in what he believed even when others disagreed.

Harry is survived by his wife of 56 years Michaelin (Mickey) Griffin.  His four children, David Griffin (Grace Hewsler), Misty Renae Wade (Robert Wade), Julie Danielle Griffin (McClain Bell), Michael Todd Griffin (Nova Griffin) and multiple grandchildren, along with one great granddaughter.

Harry is also survived by his brother Carl Sill, Nieces Joanne D’amico Pedrow, Eleanor Thomas, Debbie Sanchez and Nephew Carl Sill Jr.
