June Blanche Bratcher

September 29, 1934 - July 13, 2017

Remembered by many for her youthful spirit, sense of humor and positive energy

"God looked around his garden, and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.” -Wendy Bradley

June Blanche (Chandler) Bratcher, 82, passed away peacefully at Swedish Hospital in Edmonds, WA with family by her side. Her spirit is now reunited with that of her daughter, Gail, whom will have been awaiting her arrival with love, joy, and a bottle of wine for the two of them to enjoy together, just like old times.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Anna Ruth (Lynas) and Mark Brashier Chandler, June was one of five children. She lived in Chicago for a large part of her younger years.  She also lived in various cities in Indiana, Arizona, and Washington throughout her life.

June had 3 children—Gail, Wayne, and Cary with her first husband Milton LaJune.  Later on in life June met William (Bill) Glenn Bratcher Sr., the love of her life. They married and enjoyed many years together before Bill passed away in 1997. She will be laid to rest next to Bill at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Snohomish, WA.

June is survived by her 2 sons—Wayne and Cary LaJune; brother—William Chandler; Son-In-Law—Darrel Vitulli; Grandchildren—Michelle, Katelyn, Mandy, and Jeremi; great grandchildren— Jakob, Jeremi, Arianna, Anna Leah, Oliver, and Justice; step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

June will be remembered by many for her youthful spirit, great sense of humor, positive energy, delicious cooking, and her contagious laughter. Whether she was at work  or with family and friends, June made sure those around her were enjoying the moment.  Many of us will remember sitting around the table, drinking our favorite wine, and just laughing the time away. Now she will be with her loved ones in heaven as we sit around our tables and raise our glasses to them. Till we meet again!
