Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister

Esther Mildred Bazzano, 84, of Monroe, WA, passed away at home, August 17, 2017. Born May 27, 1933 in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the middle of 3 daughters. She graduated from the Boston School of Dental Nursing in 1952 and worked as a dental assistant. She married her high school sweetheart, Bob in 1955 and they had their first of 5 children in 1958, at which time she chose to be a stay at home mom.

Bob and Esther left Hartford and moved their tiny family to Torrance, CA in 1960, then Long Beach in 1965. In 1980 they left California for the Great Northwest, living first in Bothell then Monroe. Esther returned to the workforce at that time and worked as a dental office manager until her retirement in 1995. Bob retired in 1998 and they began traveling outside the United States which was something they very much enjoyed, and continued to do thru 2012. She was diagnosed and began her battle with dementia in 2009.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, her youngest sister, 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
