Carol L. Bosket Reule
November, 27, 1935 - April 12, 2021
Carol L. Bosket Reule, 85, died peacefully April 12, 2021, after a brief illness surrounded by love and family.
She was born November, 27, 1935 in Everett, WA to Clifford and Annie Greenlund. Carol graduated from Snohomish HS in 1953, and throughout her life, maintained many of those relationships. Planning gatherings, and keeping in touch was one of the joys of her life. Even going to a class reunion luncheon just weeks before her passing.
Carol’s main love was her family. She hosted all of the holiday gatherings until recent years. She drove countless miles over the years, following her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to their many events. The event wouldn’t be complete without Grandma or GG present, cheering them all on.
She was an avid bridge player, and loved going to lunch and keeping up socially with friends. She was very proud to be an elementary school secretary for 35 years in both Arlington and Monroe. She took great pride in being recognized by former students, even many years later, and loved being a part of that special community.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl W. Bosket, in June 1984, and Ted Reule in December 2016. She was fortunate to have two great loves during her life, being married over 60 year’s total.
Carol is survived by 3 children; Ken (Jenny) Bosket; Tom (Bonnie) Bosket; Laurie (Jim) Englund. Stepfamily; Tim (Melissa) Reule; Tom Reule; Jerry Reule; Jay (Mary) Reule. 12 grandchildren; Brian (Diane) Wilson; Bryce Bosket; Lexie Brost; Kristina Bosket; Andrew Bosket; Shelby Bosket; Stephen Englund; Michael Englund; John Reule; Emily Reule; Chloe Reule; and Zachary Reule. 7 Great Grandchildren; Christopher, Ethan, Nehemiah, Weston, Kayden, Carsten, and Evelyn. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Evelyn (Bob) Hoffman; Margret (Rob) Lund. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
The family is overwhelmed with the outpouring of love from Carol’s many friends and extended family. Thankful for the staff and care givers at Washington Oaks. Grateful that we had the opportunity and blessing of being her family, and loved by her.
