David Earl Zanger

September 15, 1955 - February 27, 2022

Mr. David Earl Zanger of Lake Stevens, Washington passed away on Sunday February 27th, 2022 at the age of 66. David was born to parents Earl & Kathryn Zanger on September 15th, 1955 in Seattle, Washington.

David attended Snohomish High School & played football on the team. He loved football most of his life especially the Seahawks. David and Susan were neighbors and he taught her how to play guitar, her first song being The House of the Rising Sun. They married August 3rd, 1979 in Reno, Nevada, having driven from Washington with another couple friends Patty and Billy who also wed the same day.

Their son Brandon was born December 19, 1980, David & son Brandon restored a truck that they got from his dad Earl. It looked so beautiful when done. David had a passion for cars & trucks. He liked to go to car shows and of course to car & truck dealerships. He also loved golfing with friends, going to Ocean Shores to our property there and to see a good friend there also.

David worked for his family’s business called Multitronics for many years until they sold it. After that he went to work for Permagas & then Boeing and then retired in 2012.

David will not be alone in Heaven he will be with our son Brandon who passed March 7th, 2021 and David’s parents Earl & Kathryn Zanger.

David is survived by his wife Susan Zanger, daughter Heather Isenhart, sister Laura Larson, brother Mark Zanger and many close relatives and friends that he made over the years.

A celebration of David’s life will take place on Saturday, March 26th at 1:00 at the Zanger residence. Please attend to share memories, tears, laughter, food & music! All in remembrance of David Earl Zanger.
