Gayle Renee Talmadge

December 5, 1952 - March 9, 2022

Gayle Renee Talmadge, 69, from Auburn Washington died March 9th 2022 surrounded by her family.

Gayle the youngest of three children, was born Dec 5th 1952

She was an artist, and an avid reader who enjoyed her peace and quiet. She loved to travel., and went on many cruises traveling the world. She was a hard working independent woman who always did things her own way. She was a super hero, with some pretty incredible powers. Her spirit will truly be missed.

Gayle worked many years at Fred Meyer as a District visual merchandising coordinator. She absolutely loved her job, she would travel to multiple locations doing visual and holiday displays as well as setup many grand openings. Her co-workers became like family. I’m sure she will be missed by many.

But the job she loved most was being a Mammy to her six grandchildren. She was only weeks away from meeting her first great grandchild. Mammy was a very thoughtful and loving grandma who had the best knack for picking out presents!

She always said her children were her biggest achievement and she was so proud of each and every one of them. But they’d all agree that any success in their lives was largely due the example that she’d set. Her independence, integrity, and her work ethic set the bar for her children and all those around her.

Gayle is survived by husband Donald Talmadge and their children Lisa Hawkins, Trey Talmadge and Justin Talmadge.
