George Stuart Lunn

January 26, 1942 - May 24, 2019

Born January 26, 1942 in Vancouver BC Canada to George and Billie Lunn. The family immigrated to the US in 1953 and settled in Seattle.   George graduated from Lincoln High School in 1960 and joined the Army.  He worked at Harrah’s in Lake Tahoe for a while and enjoyed meeting different celebrities. He came back to Seattle and worked at Boeing and then Glaser Brothers and then for Diamond Parking, running the KOMO parking lot. He enjoyed organizing the parking lot and keeping track of what seemed like 100’s of keys. After he retired, he delivered auto parts and enjoyed the customer contact.

Much loved husband of Karen, daughter Lisa, husband Ed; sister Dee and husband Michael; special nephew Chuck and wife Dena, along with their son Justin and wife Kaelyn (and soon to be born great, great nephew); and daughters Nicole and Natalie. Preceded in death by niece Dawn, but survived by her daughters Heather, husband Izaac, and Hailee. Also survived by brothers and sisters (in law): Roger and wife Mac (Karen), their children Christopher and Kristina, husband Jeremy and children Lela and Gavin; Michael and Cindy; Tim and Heidi, their son Andrew and his wife Rajani; Special friends Ruth and Ernie and neighbor Ralph.

He loved all of his family and friends (pets included), sports (especially the Seahawks and Sounders), older cars, peanut butter, driving and trivia and he will be very missed.

His ashes are being sprinkled over Puget Sound and an open house celebration of his life will be held at the family home on June 23rd between 1:00 and 5:00.
