Jack Vance White

May 6, 1932 - October 27, 2019

Jack Vance White passed away peacefully on the morning of 10/27/19 at the age of 87. Born May 6th, 1932 in Seattle, WA as the second son of Ruth and Earl White Sr. he graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle, Class of 1950 before going on to attend the University of Washington.

Acting as the social chairman of the Gamma Pi fraternity he met his late wife, Dorothy Jane Young. They married in August 1956, soon after getting started on their proudest accomplishment: their family. Greg and his wife Carol, Sally and her husband Matt, Kerilee, and Gary all continue to carry on their parents legacy in Washington state. They gave him 9 grandkids, one angel in heaven, and 9 great-grandkids.

Through Jack’s adult life he worked for Tube Art electric signage and as a beloved baseball coach/umpire for Richmond Beach little league, all while serving as an active member of the Rotary club of shoreline. His loyalty to the UW Huskies lived on and he became a season ticket holder for the Seahawks in their inaugural year, 1975. His passions for skiing with the Innis Arden ski club and tennis filled his time with many lifelong friends.
