Richard Erath

July 17, 1964 - October 23, 2022

The Legend, Richard Scott Erath, was born to Wendy Elizabeth Andrews on July 17th, 1964. Rick passed away October 23, 2022 from natural causes, he was 58 years old and surrounded by family.

Rick lived life his way- mostly in Seattle and Everett, he was a talented artist and friend to many. He loved his family, comics, superheroes, classic rock, and Double Mocha Breves. He will be remembered for his beautiful laugh, infectious smile and expressive eyebrows. Rick graciously saved 3 people's lives through organ donation and will always be a superhero in his family's eyes. He is survived by his 2 sons, RJ and Nicholas, siblings, Robert Wayne and Kimberly Anne and 2 nieces, Leneka and Jaylin. Quick witted with a wicked sense of humor, he always had a quip to throw out. Rick was stubborn, brave and adventurous.

Rick's family sends their gratitude and love to those who loved him as well. Especially in his later years the family is grateful for the excellent care given through the doctors and nurses at Providence Hospital, in Everett.

We take comfort knowing he is safe and reunited with our mother, Wendy. There will be a family ceremony to spread his ashes in Alaska at a later date.

We look forward to reading stories about and memories others have had with Rick.
