September 1, 1946 - August 14, 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon M. Kemplin Starks announces her passing after an extended illness, on Wednesday August 14th, at the age of 72 years.

Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend William G. Starks of 44 years. Sharon will be fondly remembered by her sister Beverly Boland of Glendora CA and her three children, a daughter, April M. (Warden) Murphy of St. Helens OR a son, Robert Warden of San Diego CA and a daughter, Amber M. (Starks) Pohl of Newton IA a grandson Aaron Warden, and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was born in Los Angeles, California on September 1, 1946 daughter to James T. and Hilda M. Kemplin, she later moved to the Pacific Northwest and it soon became home. When she was able, Sharon loved to camp, hike and picnic in the outdoors, but she also loved the Oregon coast. Some of Sharon’s hobbies and interests were music, art, recreational shooting and spending time with her family cooking or spending time with her pets that brought her great joy.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents. No service will be held per Sharon’s request.
