Nicholas Kipf van Rooyen

May 07, 1985 - February 06, 2015

He Will Always Be With Us

Mr. Nick Kipf van Rooyen, age 29, was called home to be with his heavenly family on Feb. 6th, 2015. Nick was born in Fort Pierce, Florida on May 7th 1985. Nick moved to Missoula, Montana in 1993. While he lived in Missoula, Nick played little league baseball and fell in love with snow sports, a love he would carry with him all his life.

He graduated from Glendale High School in Springfield, Missouri, where he was very active in sports - playing football, running track, and cheer-leading. Nick attended Westminster College for a short time but decided to come home and join his family irrigation business. This was the trade he took with him when he married Anita van Rooyen and moved to Everett, Washington in 2010.

Nick is survived by his loving wife Anita; his son Kip van Rooyen - the light of his life; his mother Shelia Kipf; stepfather Pat of Missouri; older sister Tiffany, also of Missouri; older brother Josh of Ohio; Grandfather John Hinchcliff of Ohio; along with uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Nick was a man with a large caring heart for his family and friends. We shall all miss how Nick touched our lives, and the lessons he taught us. He will always be with us, and watching over us. May your journey be safe, and may it always be a powder day.

Memorial

He Will Always Be With Us

Those we love remain with us,

for Love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade;
because one loved is gone.

Those we love can never be
more than a thought apart,
for as long as there's a memory
they live on in our heart.
Think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost,
and he was loved so much.
