Arthur Russell Mitchell

October 07, 1924 - October 20, 2009

A Great Guy

Arthur Russell Mitchell born in Bellingham, lived and died in Seattle, October 20, 2009. He graduated from Bellingham High in 1942. He served his country with the US Army in the South Pacific 1942 to 1945. Attended the University of Washington graduating with a BA in Accounting in 1949. His CPA career ended in 1988 retiring from his position as President of Cascade Natural Gas. Retiring from work left him more time for golf, a passion he shard with his wife Emelie. Golfing at Sand Point County Club in Seattle and Sun Crest in Palm Desert, California has been a joy in his life. He will be remembered by his family, friends and golfing buddies as a ‘great guy’. Thanks Art. He will be missed by his wife Emelie, sons Russell (Lyndia), Bruce and Steven, grandchildren Melissa, Benjamin and Ashley, brothers, Henry (Irene) deceased, Walt (Jean) and Chuck, sister Betty (George) Scott, nieces and nephew.

FUNERAL INFORMATION
