Janice Lee "Jann" Messer

September 26, 1946 - October 23, 2012

She was a “best friend” to many and a comfort to those in need

Jann passed away Tuesday morning, October 23, 2012 after a sudden and unexpected illness. She was 66 years old. Jann was born 26 September 1946 in San Francisco and raised in Wichita, Kansas. She was married to David Caffarel in 1964 and lived near Tacoma, Washington where they raised their daughter Judy. Jann was later married to Andy Messer in 1990, residing in Seattle until they retired to Whidbey Island in 2002.

Jann was a loving mother and wife. She was a “best friend” to many and a comfort to those in need. Jann was an aunt, grandmother, sister and friend to her extended families and loved by all. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by Andy her husband of 23 years, her daughter Judy, son-in-law Gary and granddaughter Arianna of Whidbey Island.

FUNERAL INFORMATION

Services will be held Saturday, November 10 at 3:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Freeland, WA.
