Loon Sing Moravong
September 12, 1938 - April 30, 2010
Wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend
Loon came to the United Stated in 1978, with her husband and five children from Laos. They went through a great journey before arriving to Seattle, Washington. She lived a very simple life.
We will all miss her kindness, gentle nature, and incredible beautiful smile. We grieve the loss of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and fellow laborer in the Lord, but we can rejoice in the life that she lived.
Loon is survived by her husband, Souk Moravong (aka Boon Sivilay), four daughters, (ChanSouk (Sony) Moravong of Tacoma, Bouachan (Noy) Moravong of Seattle, Khamla (Toi) Moravong of Seattle, Onkeo Vickie Merced of Auburn), a son, (Somdee Moravong of Seattle), 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and the faith community at Our Lady of Mount Virgin in Seattle.

Legacy of Love
A wife, a mother, a grandma too,
This is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart, you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you've earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep.
My Dearest Mother...
You have been a warrior of "light" in my life.
I look around at this amazing
family here with you now.
This is my face - I am the place where you are.
Love.
The family mantle covers you
with the rays of the sun in the daytime,
and the glow of the stars at night,
we will never part.
This is a forever together -
with infinite love, strength and courage
we hold hands for eternity.
I love you with all of my heart.
