Sophia Beatriz Latino

January 31, 1976 - September 10, 2016

Sophia Beatriz Latino, 40 years old, of Mukilteo passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her home under the care of her family and Hospice.  Sophia is survived by her husband, Jose Medrano, and their two children, Elissa and Jasmine Medrano. She is also survived by her mother, Rosa Adam, two brothers, Roberto Latino and Federico Chavez.  
 
Originally from Nicaragua, Sophia came to California in 1989 and began Middle School. After graduating High School, she attended college and graduated from San Francisco State University.  She left San Francisco in 2005 and headed to Seattle, Washington. In Seattle, she began working at the YMCA of Greater Seattle. After leaving the YMCA, she worked as a Case Manager at Hopelink. Her friends and coworkers loved Sophia and the clients that she served appreciated her genuine concern and helpful disposition. “The ones who love us never really leave us, you can always find them in here (in our hearts).”---J.K. The burial service will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Woodland Cemetery. 7509 Riverview Road, Snohomish WA 98290. Telephone: 360-568-5560.
