Allen David Kostelecky

December 10, 1940 - March 20, 2015

Allen "Pops" Kostelecky, 74, of Bothell, Washington, passed away on March 20, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones. He is mourned by his wife, Joyce, of over 50 years and his sons Parry (Autumn) and Wayne. Allen was a loving grandfather to his four grandchildren, Leah, Lauren, Nicholas and Drew.

Allen, one of ten children, was born in Dickinson, North Dakota on December 10, 1940. He is preceded in death by brothers Vernon and Ken, and will be missed by his siblings, Marge, Ray, Jean, Vince, Doris, Bobby and Dean.

After retiring from the City of Kirkland, Allen could be found tinkering in his is garage, maintaining his park-like yard and restoring antique tractors. He was an avid member of the Sky Valley Antique Tractor Club and participated in many tractor showing events.

Allen proudly served in the US Navy until 1964 and will be interred in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, North Dakota.

FUNERAL INFORMATION

A memorial service will be held at St Michael's Catholic Church (Snohomish, WA) at 11am on April 17th.
