Paul James Nixon

July 24, 1961 - June 24, 2018

The family of Paul J Nixon, 56, is sad to announce his unexpected passing on June 24, 2018 at his home in Everett, Washington. A private family service will be held Saturday, July 7, in Snohomish, Washington.

Paul was born to Robert “Bob” Nixon and Maryalice “Peggy” Boland on July 24, 1961 in Spokane, WA. He was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity at The University of Texas, graduating with a master’s degree in architecture in 1987. He pursued architecture and project management in his professional life, to include work on SeaWorld San Antonio and

Snohomish High School. Paul was also a member of the American Institute of Architecture. His hobbies included woodworking, pottery, and exploring new paths on his motorcycle.

Paul is survived by both of his parents, his two beloved daughters Kathryn “Kat” and Sara, his two sisters Lillian “Lani” and Elizabeth, his brother Derek, and his partner Dan

Paul was known for his love of travel and adventure with friends and family alike. His light and laughter was infectious and is well remembered by all who knew him.
