Kristine "Kris" Madella Coffman

August 22, 1943 - October 30, 2019

Kristine “Kris” Madella Coffman (née Hood) passed away peacefully at home on October 30 2019 from cancer in Lake Stevens, Washington at the age of 76.

Kris was born on Seattle, Washington to Bill and Signe Hood. graduated from Prosser High School in 1961.

Kris is survived by her sons Sean and Adam Akin; grandchildren Gayle Venegas-Akin, Charlie Akin, Kassidy Akin, Alexander Akin; great grandchild Emma Venegas; and her sister Maureen Colby. She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Signe Hood; brother Jerry Hood; and son Brock Akin.

Kris was renaissance woman who worked in a variety of fields; from Hair Stylist, Business Owner/operator, General Store Manager, Restaurant Manager, Bartender to anything else she wanted to do. She was a loving individual who cherished her friends and family and who was passionate about doing the things she enjoyed.
