Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many

Signa Mavis Peterson Noyes returned to her Heavenly Father on February 12, 2017.  She was born in Oakley, Idaho on February 19, 1930 to Gustave William Peterson and Ora Hague.

She attended school in Oakley, Idaho.  After graduating from high school, she moved to Boise, Idaho to live with her older sister, Hilma.   It was in Boise that she met her husband, Warren Edward Noyes, while waitressing at a café.   They were married on January 8, 1949 in Seattle, Washington.  Their first home was in North Seattle, but the family moved to Monroe, Washington, in 1971.  After Warren passed away in 2004, she moved to a small home in a retirement community in Marysville, where she quickly became friends with all of her neighbors.  She was blessed to have two daughters, Robyn (Dale) Davis, and Holly (Bill) Galloway, and one son, Dana (Karin) Noyes.  She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Grandson Nicholas Galloway, also preceded her in death.

Signa was a devoted and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served faithfully throughout her life.  In addition to spending time with her family and friends, she loved all things beautiful, but especially flowers and birds.  She also loved collecting beautiful china, antiques and family heirlooms.
