Annette Marie Vannini Green
August 21, 1965 - March 10, 2018
Mrs. Annette Marie Vannini Green, age 52, died March 10, 2018 while on hospice care at Providence Hospice in Everett, Washington. Annette was born to parents Lou and Adrienne Vannini on August 21, 1965 in North Ridge, California. She moved to Washington at the age of 20 and two years later, Annette married the love of her life, Curtis Lee Green on May 28, 1988. Married nearly 30 years, Annette and Curtis lived in the same house in Lake Stevens for 28 years and raised their two sons Aaron and Caleb Green.
Beyond being a beloved wife and mother, Annette also volunteered for 10 years as a Guardian Ad Litem and worked for 3 years at DART. Annette was a member of the Arlington Garden Club, a Board Member of Counseling Centers of North Puget Sound, Amateur Radio Relay League, and WA7LAW Snohomish County Hams Club. Annette enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, volunteering, furniture repair, reading, writing, her Bible Studies and her KF7CSW Amateur radio license.
Curtis reflects on the life he shared and the qualities he loved about Annette were her kindness and empathetic nature. Everyone who met her said there was an extra quality they couldn’t quite put their finger on. Our attraction was immediate and we were rarely apart for more than a couple of days at a time. She made me feel whole. She was pretty inside and out, very fashion conscious. She loved trips to Disneyland (world), Hawaii, Seaside Oregon, New York City. We once drove a van from Ann Arbor, Michigan up through Toronto and Montreal, then down to Vermont all the way to Kennebunkport, Maine to see President Bush’s house. We drove down to Washington DC then back to Ann Arbor. We took weekend trips to various Hampton Inn’s (free breakfast) around Washington, Oregon and Arizona to see different places.
Annette is survived by her loving husband Curtis L Green, sons Aaron and Caleb Green, parents Lou and Adrienne Vannini and brothers Tom and Kerry Vannini. She will be dearly missed by everyone who was touched by her life.
Arrangements are entrusted to A Sacred Moment Funeral Home in Everett, Washington.
